WordPress Website Redesign For a Local Pressure Washing Contractor

For the past few months, I’ve been busy with a small WordPress website redesign project for a local pressure washing contractor and I’d like to share the results with you today!

I first designed a website for Thompson Roof Cleaning & Power Washing back in 2009 as their growing business demanded a professional online portfolio. Years later, TRCPW had the site redesigned on a WordPress platform but eventually, the site grew slow, disorganized, and looking unprofessional again.

Ed, the company’s owner, contracted me earlier this year to redesign the website in order to improve the looks, user experience, speed, and SEO. I jumped on the opportunity to work together once more!

The Need for a Comprehensive Overhaul

This was the site before the redesign. Its outdated looks and disorganized content begged for a do-ver.

Poor website performance was also a major issue. Slow page speed and the underlying code/structure were clearly problematic.

The site needed a comprehensive overhaul and so I got to work!

Professional WordPress Website Redesign Completed

The new design has a more modern look and feel. Besides being fully optimized for SEO, the website is now cleaner, crispier, user-experience-focused, and loads fast!

The Home Page has it all!

Significant Improvement in Website Performance

The performance test showed a significant improvement in page speed and structure. We decreased page load time by over 77%, practically eliminated cumulative layout shift, and reached a 100% overall performance score!

Additionally, we optimized the site for the search engines (SEO), upgraded PHP, installed an SSL certificate, set up a backup system, and ensured the site is fully responsive/mobile. After a thorough review, the website went live in August!

Thank you for your business, Ed. Wishing you prosperity and continued success!
